Hey TM, I was just offering thoughts on a subject. I wasn't offended, nor did I criticize. On that note, Jim Morrison may have been a bit of an oddball, but he wasn't half the asshole that John Lennon, Ginger Baker, and Keith/Mick were/are. He, like, Brian, was sensitive and talented in a way that was somehow easy to mock both then and now, (but of course they both could be assholes too some of the time). And, yeah, though they are known for their substance "challenges," both were far more dynamic and had more potential than anyone in any 'death-club' to produce the most interesting of sounds, had they lived. Jim and Brian were definitely the two best figures in music who died young, but it is sickeningly and maddeningly frustrating to devote any thought to it at all because they are DEAD, and it sucks, and thus it is pointless. It is never better to die at 27 if you can help it.
