RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: deflated footballs

>Either way, I hate both teams that are in the Super Bowl this year and I wish they could both lose, lol!<

Lol. I think there are a lot of people who feel the way you do. Most people I have talked to are simply rooting for a close game because they cannot get behind either team.

>First of all, to have 11 of 12 footballs be deflated to the SAME PSI is evidence enough of NE tampering with the balls, especially since they were all weighed 2 hours before the game (Pats and Colts footballs) and were all the perfect weight.<

Yes. A great point. And I cannot help but think that one ball out of 12 being legit weight was left that way on purpose by the Patriots in case an official wanted to examine a ball. The Patriots could say, "See? We did not tamper with our balls." But the officials were smart enough to check all the balls.

It appears the NFL will not reach any final conclusions or levy any penalties on the Patriots until after the Super Bowl. I feel the delay is intentional by the league. They claim they are still doing a thorough investigation. The league does not want to hamper one of it's Super Bowl teams heading into the NFLs biggest money making game of the season. They will not suspend the Pats head coach or star quarterback. The threat of all kinds of litigation is likely the real reason the investigation, and possible penalties will not be decided upon until after the big game.

Richard Sherman of the Seahawks can sometimes be too abrasive but I had to laugh at what he has said about it all recently. He stated the NFL commissioner and Pats owner Kraft are too buddy buddy for the league to do anything to the Pats and the league is too focused on his teammate Marshawn Lynch and fining him for his antics. It took balls for him to say that. I admire him for it. The guy knows how to play psychological warfare with his opponents too. He gets inside their heads. Though I admit sometimes he goes too far and he throws sportsmanship completely out the window. In this case though, he made me laugh by being so bold - taking on the Commissioner, pissing off the Patriots, and defending his teammate all in the same breath.
