They're okay. I can't take many whole albums by them, though.
Guns N Roses really seems to me like people of a certain age a little younger than me think they're really great and original, but I don't hear that. Sounds mostly like nothing new, like The Black Crowes. I like that first album, but I haven't played it in ages. I think that generation just didn't have many really good bands and they were going for whatever they could get. Radio was busy playing late period Pink Floyd, Tom Petty and even throwing in Michael Jackson on the rock stations, Van Hagar was stinking up the joint and Def Leppard was miserable after their first album. I guess GnR was all there was.
