Bands you've tried hard to get into but just can't

Okay, it's possible this question has been touched on before.

And I don't think many here would 'try hard' to get into a band if they didn't feel a real call to them. I guess by 'try hard' I just mean to make an effort to enjoy, discover, understand, and appreciate a band.

I was thinking of this when I was listening to some songs considered the best by RADIOHEAD. I've tried to dig them before, but they just don't do it for me.

METALICA also just never really did it for me, although I did like that Whisky In a Jar song

And then there's U2... I really only like the hits. Not much else.

So there you have it, 3 of the biggest bands to come along in the past few decades, and I just can't get into them.
