I always suggest you read the thread's first post, then vote, as nobody should be influenced by what others think, vote the way you feel first - unless you are on the fence, then it would be cool to read the entire thread first. I'm sure that most here have noticed that I never place my own picks in the first post I make each week, they are placed only in the thread's replies, since I don't want to sway anybody's vote. But I do like to express my feeling on how I'm voting, so I do list them later, and I also list them to help get some comments going here at the board, although that never seems to work. If the polls themselves got the same weak response that their poll thread gets each week, we would not be in week 805, I would have ended them years ago for a lack of support. But that has never been the case, they always did well once people knew about them, so they keep going strong, even if today the Rock poll gets more votes than the Stones poll gets (in most weeks, anyway).
