Yes, and for camping or barbecuing with friends. Tailgating. The beach, or simply sitting with a cold one in my backyard during the Summer months. It's good therapy my friend. The right knob manipulation of volume, bass, and treble and the right placement of our music playing apparatus in relation to our seat, can bring we music lovers to the Sweet Spot and total bliss.
Just this past week, my friend Greg - Live Flowers was in need of the Sweet Spot. Thousands of CDs but he had a 50 Watts per channel receiver pushing (I believe) 200 watts Bose. It didn't sound terrible but it was not the sweet spot. I found him an old Sony Receiver with 100 watts per channel for 5 dollars at the Goodwill. FIVE dollars and it is a black beauty with only a couple minor scratches. We hooked that mutha up together on Monday night and then he knew what he had been missing! Hello midrange, warm, full Bass, full highs and undistorted high volumes!
For five dollars I gave my friend the sweet spot and musical bliss for years. I got high off of it. I know what a huge music lover he is.
