I just read that the Pope said something to the effect that we "should not and cannot insult or make fun of other peoples' faith."

So, if I understand this correctly, religions are free, every single day, to insult gays in their teachings, free to insult women in their teachings and practices, free to insult logic, reason, and science in their teachings, free to insult and mock other faiths (*none* of which are the "one true faith") in their teachings, and free to basically insult humanity in their teachings....but we are not free to criticize, satirize, or insult them from time to time?
