The attack was not in the US, yes, but the people who took responsibilty for it, Al Qaeda in Yemen, have called for their followers to kill the police and innocent citizens in the US following the France attack. Even when people from other lands piss them off, the US becomes a target!
You also said in an earlier post, and I don't remember the exact words, but you alluded that this was sort of a "lone wolf" attack in France, Well, it was not. It was funded by al Qaeda. There are records showing over $20,000 being delivered to the killers for funding... much like the 9/11 attacks. They are just doing it on a smaller scale now.
