Stones Poll; 7 is my pick, your average, but still good cover.
Rock poll: I do like falsetto a lot, and this week we have even better songs with falsetto singers listed than last week, so I have several I could vote for including the Tokens with 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight', Jagger's EM, P. F. Sloan on Jan and Dean's 'The Little Old Lady from Pasadena', I don't even mind Tiny Tim's song, but I could never vote for it, it's no favorite of mine... I went with Lou Christie on his song 'Lightning Strikes Again'
VS poll: Even if it isn't any of the members of Aerosmith who make their cover great (other than nice vocals by Steve), I'll go with 'their" cover over the Yardbirds, Aerosmith's guitars have more life to 'em than the Yardbirds, including the the Yardbirds' second take where they used 2 lead guitarists. Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner just had that magic playing together, just listen to the live Lou Reed LP Rock n Roll Animal for proof, nothing beats 'Sweet Jane" which is found on there. They are the 2 most under rated guitar duo in Rock music... well were anyway, as Wagner passed away last year.
