The police made sure that George wouldn't be there before they busted the place so that could not have happened.

That bust brought the Glimmers closer. Had Brian been included, he may also have gotten closer to the other two and the whole dynamic within the band would have changed.

Of course, we'll never know for sure what would have, could have happened.
