I agree with most of what you wrote, and yes, Woody was a perfect fit for Keith - but I still think BJ and Keith had it down better. Also, Keith has flat out said where he and Brian got the idea from - Robert Johnson. He has noted that when he first listened to Johnson play, he was sure there were 2 guitarists playing at once, and he was blown away when he found out it was only one guy playing alone. But that's where the 2 of them first heard such playing and that's what they were copying, even if it turned out to be just one person playing all along. So they started this weaving by accident one could say, thanks to the godfather of Rock, Robert Johnson!
