Here's some discussion, pluto: If you've finished Trynka's new Brian book, and believe it, it seems to me that there's a lot more to the "weaving" than meets Keith's eye. Namely, that Brian led the way on all the early stuff and that often-times, when he wasn't instructing Keith exactly how to play something,he might have been weaving with himself due to his own overdubs, something Trynka says that Keith would also do later, with Cooder, among others.
In any case, I agree on the harrison points. Lovely voice, with great musicality and decision-making, but the nasal whine on some of his slide frustrates to no end
