Yea Sway the Expos had some REAL good players. Along with the two in the Hall today, Alou, Walker, and several others that would have made a BIG difference. Gomper, I am NOT sure about Rose. I think maybe after he is dead and gone, one of the veterans committees will elect him. I think he should be in the Hall as a player, I think his betting happened as a coach. I have NOT heard of any betting while he was a player. But trying to separate player/coach is just TOO tough for the simple minded writers.
