On New Year's day I had a lot of cooking to do, and I got an old 5 disc CD player that I loaded up. Of course the Stones SF was one of the LPs which got played, but the 4 other ones were all Elton John. My daughter is big time into Elton, always has been as me and her mom played old Elton a lot when she was growing up, but never 4 cds in a row like that. So we played the following LPs: Tumbleweed Connection, Honky Château, Don't Shoot Me I'm Only the Piano Player, and Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy. The Captain Fantastic LP I hadn't heard in years, I had gotten a remastered copy a few years back, but I never played it, and when I did the other day, found out there were bonus tracks on it, including a cover of Lennon's 'One Day at a Time" which I didn't even know Elton covered. It was very enjoyable to hear all of those great EJ albums together!
