RE: RE: RE: RE: Holiday Songs

I get sucked up in so many. There is a band called the whirling dirvishes that cover "You're a mean one, Mr.Grinch." That is sublime. That Bing and Bowie cover gets me going every time. I like the all the Vince Girauldi stuff. Especially "Linus and Lucy" Which in turn reminds me of The Royal Guardsmen Snoopy song. I had to laugh at DA's retail comment. Been there too!!! CR, I loath Stevie Nicks cover of "Silent Night".But, I love you! :) I have to give a nod to The Waitresses' "Christmas wrappings". Shane McKweon of The Pogues and Kristy Macoll did a duet. I think entitled "Christmas in New York" that is great. I think I'm way off on my spelling and the title. I got of CD of all the songs from the Animated puppet shows I grew up with. Rudolph, ect. It includes Herbie the elf singing "Why I'm I such a misfit?" and The burger meister burger song. Of course, it is never xmas without "the xmas song" by nat king cole. Least we not for get the chipmunks. "I still want a hoola hoop!"
