Torturing people as Keno says is illegal. The U.S.A is a signatory to International agreements, and has been acting outwith these agreements. It is a well documented fact that torture mostly does not produce the desired result, and leads to more abuses. The U.S.A has been responsible for the illegal detention, transportation, and torture of many completely innocent people.
The result of U.S. foreign policy in the decades that it has rampaged round the World involved in direct military action or indirectly through the support of the vilest people, is that it is now regarded by very many as the number one terrorist State on the face of the planet. It is hard to disagree, and sorry to say my country in it's support for the U.S., has put itself in the same bracket.
