I'm not a huge fan of Miss You, but I think they played it that day because it's kind of a "New York" song.
Yes, perhaps, and it would had been looked at as perhaps tasteless if they played "Shattered", although on the other hand, and at that place in time, it would had been the perfect song to play, as so many felt that way after what took place.
