No problem. The memory is a funny thing, especially as we get older. I'm not a huge fan of Miss You, but I think they played it that day because it's kind of a "New York" song.
As far as the recent spate of deaths involving the police, I'm tired of it. Tired of hearing about it. As a society, the US is still the best place to live. I just wish stuff like this wouldn't happen. In some cases, I just have to wonder "Why can't these suspects/criminals just put their arms up and surrender peacefully?" So much of this could be avoided. Some of them get mouthy and belligerent (which doesn't warrant a death sentence) and some get downright physical, wrestling with the cop and going for his gun. It's those situations where I defer to "Well if you wrestle with a cop and go for his gun, you get what you deserve." And I'm a peace loving dude whose never touched a gun in his life and have no desire to. But I don't let the cops off the hook either. And I do think people need to use some common sense when approached by a law enforcement official.
