...This latest killing wasn't even carried on the network news, but in Phoenix AZ today, yet another unarmed black man was murdered by a white cop! This is becoming a weekly deal now with white cops, who will be their next victim next week?
So what was this dude's crime today? The cop felt he was dealing drugs from his car in a parking lot, and felt he had a gun - when the guy never did. So the cop decided that since he might and since he felt he was dealing drugs to other adults, that was grounds for the death penalty for this unarmed man, and he proceeded to act as both the judge and jury in an instant and killed the dude right in his car!... So why wasn't this news enough to be noted on the national TV news tonight? It wasn't on ABC anyway, as that is what I normally watch for such news. I guess the news heads feel this is so commonplace after so many years that they don't have to even report it, as long as not too many are people are making a big deal about it.
This killing spree by the cops just will not stop, and all they are doing is making the general public hate them and not trust them again, just like in the late '60s and early '70s. After 911 took place, people felt bad for the cops killed, and for the first time in years they had most of the public on their side. But instead of embracing the public, they just went back after all of that support was shown and started to kill innocent people at will again. Yet at least some people even back then realized nothing had changed with them. Remember that special rock concert at MSG for those killed serving the public during 911 (it was mainly held for firefighters)? I think it was called something like "The Concert for Heroes", or something along those lines. But all of these big rock acts performed to raise money for them, including the Stones. You might recall that at the ending of each song, each frontman of the band was handed a police hat and asked to wear it, even if the concert wasn't just for cops. There was only one band that refused to join in, and that was the Stones! When they handed the police hat to Jagger, he was the only rocker who refused to wear it, as he just tossed it aside. It was MJ saying to the cops that he remembered how they mistreated him and busted him and his bandmates over nothing in the past. He had the brains to know that deep down what was the truth about cops and they weren't going to change, and he was right.
