First off, from the evidence I've seen from the Brown death, there was certainly plenty to back up the cops version of events. Second, if you don't believe that, well then there was plenty to at least suggest reasonable doubt. And as you stated, the grand jury sees and hears evidence that you and I just don't know about. From the accts in that case that everyone agrees on, I'm not about to throw that cop to the wolves when all he's serving the public and being forced to make judgment calls that involve his own life or death. No one is right 100% of the time. And Brown certainly bears a large part of the blame. Now in the Garner case, I'm with you. The video evidence supports that fact that that cop overreacted and unnecessary force was used, which caused a death.
I'm all for video cameras on cop cars, etc. Should be mandatory.
