Damn! RIP Ian.
In an email exchange with DA about 2 weeks ago, I had on my mind the death of Jack Bruce at 69 and I noted to her that I felt in the next few years starting now, we would start to see a lot more Baby Boomer era rockers dying (including a Stone or 2), even if most of them should live another 8 to 10 years on average. But thanks to all of the drugs and too much drinking/smoking they all did, well they say you lose 5 to 10 years of life if you overdo it when you're younger, and I guess we are seeing this now.
Gosh, I did mean all that, yet still, 2 members of the Stones family end up dying 2 days in a row so soon after I noted that. I would rather be wrong of course, but this is something us fans better start getting used to. Not to jinx anybody, but if you live a hard, partying life, you ain't likely gonna be around at age 80, and we're seeing these early deaths happen now.
