More on those 80's albums

Frig, I wish I was posting in this from the get go (you can tell who all the teens in the 80's were lol)! Manny - I think VH was awesome and their whole albums were great from start to finish. I'm sick of a lot of them now though. We were in a remote small mining town and the closest city was an hour and a half away and we were not anywhere near Toronto - we were bushmen & women Ronnie! Our town had one very GAY radio station called CKNR. To tell you how gay it was, at 10pm EVERY night, the Bible Story came on for an hour. So we all played our records and cassettes and that is why I got into all this rock and roll and loved whole albums. And just so you know Manny - I gave GNR Lies a listen the other night and almost spit out my beer laughing because I told you it was a mellow album LMAO! Well there are only about 2 or 3 songs that were mellow so I apologize if I led you the wrong way. I didn't realize I had that cd but was going through some stuff and found it. Anyway, here are some that I loved:

GNR Appetite

Joshua Tree

Syncronicity

Back in Black

Pyromania & Hysteria

Eliminator

INXS Kick

Tattoo You

Undercover

Emotional Rescue

These are in no particular order either (the boys wouldn't be at the bottom). Special mention goes to Judas Priest. Rob Halford has an amazing voice and he can sing anything! I was never into really heavy shit but JP was the exception (due to my brother playing them non-stop). I watched a Classic Albums episode once and it featured the making of British Steel and I can't remember the song but part of their instruments were one of the band opening and closing a drawer with cutlery in it. It was amazing to learn that and then listen to the song and realize what they were playing lol! I need to get that album! Anyway, I found to that there were a helluva lot of one hit wonders in the 80's. Great times for sure - the last of not being controlled by big brother before the internet came out. Times were much simpler and I miss those days!
