Well as usual, I spend the night before Thanksgiving in the kitchen making the homemade pies so I don't have to bake them while cooking the main dishes on Thursday. Got off to a late start and just finished up with the 2 pumpkin pies. Those along with the one chocolate cream pie I made first tonight, will be it for dessert, as that should be enough for the people invited here tomorrow (or later today I guess) as I didn't invite as many friends over this year as in the past. So I guess I get a break for the next 7 hours till I start the turkey and other stuff (still got to make the whipped cream for the chocolate cream pie, but that can wait till noon when I start with the bird).
I do hope all of my friends here at Gasland all have a great holiday and if you live outside the US, I still say this should be a world-wide holiday for all to celebrate, it's just so much fun and it is my favorite holiday of the year! So Happy Thanksgiving Gassers, no matter where you live! I am very thankful for my families, the one here in Colorado, those few left back in NY (and a few scattered in other states), and those of you here in the land of Gas!
