I disagree - as soon as the cop saw the two he should have stopped and called for back up (like I said above), as all cops should do when there is someone that could be wanted and especially if more than one. Nothing even happened until Wilson drove up and told them to get off the road - he initiated everything. He could have been calling for back up instead.
I do side with Keno in that the cop had choices. He could have waited for backup. He didn't "have" to shoot him in the head. If he had his taser close by and ready to grab, he could have used that right off the bat - I understand they may not want to wear it because of the discomfort but they sure shit should have it within reach, just like they wear their vests. Yeah, I'm sure he was scared shitless but cops are supposed to be trained to handle situations like that putting their fears aside and they also need to use proper judgment. Their goal should be to save lives, not take them - wound the fucker. I'm not excusing what Brown did but he also isn't hear to defend himself and I would sure as shit be saying what Wilson said too if I were in his shoes.
