It doesn't happen to whites? How do you know this? I hear it all the time on the news its just not sensationalized because if it DOES happen to anyone other than a black, it is not given the attention.
Also, I didn't put words in your mouth. I never said that YOU said that. I was making a blanket statement so please don't put words in MY mouth.
I'm not looking to argue with you or anyone here and based on all the facts that I (and the grand jury) have heard, the officer should not have charged. That is my opinion and I am not the only one who feels this way. Some black men/boys have been targeted in the past and probably the present, too, I am aware of this. But EVERY time this happens it seems like everyone tries to make every black "victim" an innocent choir boy. Again, a blanket statement, I'm not putting words in your mouth.
I work in a bad area of New York and I see these thugs get away with murder all the time. Sean Bell was killed 2 blocks from where I am, the hatchet man attacked those cops 2 blocks the other way from where I work, the black bus driver who beat the crap out of that black wise ass teen 2 weeks ago happened down the corner of my job...so I've seen a lot. BTW.. thank God that bus driver was black because if he was white, we would have Ferguson here in NY.
I talk to the cops, the local kids, the local adults and the local street dudes here. I get the straight dope from their mouths plus I see and hear a lot! You have no idea how everyone is so fed up with the Michael Browns of the world and believe me...I see him a thousand times a day.
