Hey everyone! Been a long time since I've posted as it's been a busy year. Finally got our own house and works been hectic. Musically speaking, I really got into the 66-67 era of the Stones this spring and summer and listened to a cd I made of the era on a daily basis for months. It was great rediscovering and finding a new appreciation for songs like Think, It's Not Easy, Flight 505, I Can See It, All Sold Out, Complicated, Miss Amanda Jones, etc. Incidentally, the first cds I played at our new place (for the neighbours hahah) was Let it Bleed, Its Only Rock'n Roll and Kiss' Love Gun.
I'm gad to see the Stones are still rolling, and I still have my fingers crossed they will lay down some new tunes in the future. I'm very excited about the new AC/DC album. Play Balls is good, but the tittle track is damn good, and the leaked "Hard Times" has a cool Meanstrak/Money Made kinda groove. Too bad that Mr. Rudd is in hot water; never-the-less, it sounds as if he drumming is as good as ever on the new album.
Apart from getting our house, not too much exciting has happened. Just still loving music, working lots, and enjoying my ever-growing bluray collection. I still have to pick up Hampton on blu-ray. Perhaps I'll order it along with the movie "The Long Goodbye" this week.
