One week ago today, I was raking leaves in the yard in my shirtsleeves.

Today, it was 12 degrees with the windchill. My very warm fall jacket wasn't really doing the trick but I refused to wear my winter coat. I went out and bought a ski mask to wear on those lovely winter days when the temperature dips to minus something.

The leaves that fell from the trees in the last week will remain on the ground.

I'm ready for spring, Ronnie!
