Grrr clearly makes no sense at all and is their stupidest cover ever released, but again, at least some thought went into it, even if the thought must have been made under the influence! But this US cover for Jump Back is flat out laziness on the Stones management team. The only thought made on this one was perhaps on how much money could be saved on the cover if they didn't use those stupid boots again and put nothing at all on it. How any fan could rate this US cover higher than a 3 or 4 is beyond me, yet some have.
I agree with your take on the other covers, other than the one for Emotional Rescue. It's cool enough for me to dig, but I always felt that cover would have worked better for their LP Undercover, since they look like they wanted to conceal their faces on the ER cover.
