Elton John makes me change stations. I agree somewhat with what 2kman says above (there are a few bands I do like you mentioned tho so that is where the somewhat comes in). To me, I'd rather hear a station play Ain't No Use in Cryin or Heaven instead of SMU or HF, etc. Or It's a Long Way to the top if you wanna R&R instead of Back in Black or For Those About to Rock. I don't mind those songs but they do overplay them and have for like, 30-50 years!
