Im glad he was able to play and do well too!
I've never really forgiven my old man for not letting me defend my championship (racquetball) in high school because I had a cast on my wrist (the non playing one).
I'm also astonished at your will power to not get involved with the dog.. .we have two dogs and two kids at home and we have the same rules you set down,.... its their dg, they need to walk and care for them....however, ever so often, I find myself walking them and cutting their hair with a flowbee (remember those?).... but Im also very attached to them... I assume you keep your distance.
