Yes indeed. My mom had a living will that stated this, although my 3 sisters and I all felt the same way on this matter anyway and agreed with her wishes. When she was on her deathbed, she had the choice for an operation that might have saved her life, but she still had a clear mind (for an almost 92 year old person), and she told us all that she didn't wish to live any longer and didn't want to go thru any surgery; she died 2 days later. So she didn't need us to make that decision for her in the end anyway, and I'm thankful for that.
