RE: RE: RE: SiriusXM

The Stones station went away after the merger, but it may or may not had anything to do with it. But why would they get rid of that station when they have so many other same kind of stations for other artists?... plus also, why no Beatles' station, too? I mean, we're talking about the 2 most popular classic rock bands around!

Do you listen to Sirius XM on radio or computer?

Radio. I can't listen to the station on computer since I don't subscribe to their service, same deal with listening in the car, I can't, as I don't own any of the SiriusXM radios that you get with a subscription, just listen at home on my old stereo equipment. The funny thing I learned 2 years back when I answered the 800 line for their service, was that 80% (maybe more) of their paying customers only had the service in their cars and that was the only time they listened! Only non-paying customers like myself listen mainly in their homes instead. Living where I do, you can't get any over-the-air radio (or TV for that matter) other than a few stations, and other than one country station and one NPR station, the ones you can get are very hard to listen to since they are hard to pick up being that they broadcast so far away from us. So satellite radio is the only way to hear any (clear) rock stations. But back when I answered SiriusXM's phones, I would talk many of their listeners into getting a radio for their homes since so many didn't have one. Usually they would say something like "I would like to listen to Sirius in my home" and that was when I would sell them a new radio so they could. As I noted in the past, throughout the years and the hundreds of different 800 lines that I answered the phone for, working for them was the best 800 job I ever had, I mean, 99% of the customers who called in loved the service, I almost never got upset customers calling in to make a complaint, it was the only such job where that almost never happened, the folks who got SiriusXM loved it for the most part. But if you only listen for an hour or 2 a day in your car, then you never would hear songs repeating all the time, too.
