Where is 2K Man? He would tell you that rock is alive and kicking, and as proof he would offer the names of a thousand bands that most of us have probably never heard of.

Most of us here at Gasland enjoy Classic Rock, and I don't think that there will ever be another band like the Beatles or the Rolling Stones. Because, well, the times they are a-changing. But anyone willing to explore "new" music will probably discover that there are still many interesting rock acts out there.

I turned off the radio more than 20 years ago and never looked back. It is the last place I would go to if I wanted to discover today's good rock music.
