Damn, I never knew that, but no question both songs would make for a great VS poll question, so thanks!

Manny, I like "There's a Place".... I do recall hearing back when it came out, that Lennon/McCartney were inspired to write the song after seeing West Side Story, after that one song in that musical (can't recall the title) that has the lyrics: "There's a place for us" (Tony and Maria sing it to each other). Also, and I think i read this in the Beatle Bible, but this was one of the early songs that Lennon and McCartney actually did sit down and write together.
