Ah, yes! NOW! was my first Stones album. I bought it in January '66 after hearing it at my cousins' house on Christmas. NOW! rivals Exile as my favorite Stones album. If you want lessons on the guitar "weaving", Jones and Richard(s) are masterful, showing all they learned during those cold, cold nights in their dingy flat, doing nothing but learning how to play guitars together. This is the album where their skills as musicians (all 6 [gotta include Stu] of them) comes to the fore. "Everybody Needs Someone to Love," "Down Home Girl" and "You Can't Catch Me" are tremendously wonderful songs and "What a Shame" is one of my all-time fave Stones songs
