Yes, that was a terrible practice, wasn't it?

Could you imagine TSMR with those 3 songs, BB with JJF, LIB with HTW (instead of Country Honk)?

Weren't singles, in those days, backed up (B side) with a song from the actual album that was about to be released? JJF was backed up with Child of the Moon, which also didn't appear on an album. We Love You was single which had Dandelion as it's B Side...which also wasn't on an album. I am very uninformed on this topic so a little insight from anyone is gladly welcomed.
