BnB vs EOMS/AC/DC/Acid Queen/Fabs' guests

vs.

Week 789 of our Stones poll is upon us and this week’s question is:Black N Blue vs Exile On Main Street, which album do you like the best? It’s week 2 of the black n blue polls and this week the 1976 release will take on the fan favorite 1973 EOMS double LP. This album does very well in these polls, with a record of 8 wins and only 2 loses so far.

How well do you think Black N Blue will do against Exile? Guess we’ll know soon. To vote in this week’s Stones’ poll, just click on: Stones Weekly Poll.

vs.

In last week’s Stones poll we asked: Black N Blue vs It's Only Rock 'n Roll, which album do you like the best? The final tally wasn’t too close at all, as one LP lead big for the entire week. Which one? To find out, just click on this link: Stones Weekly Poll - week 788– poll results to find out. I’ll also add this result to the Stones VS Page.

Now to the Classic Rock Poll where it’s week 431 and we’ll be running the usual 2 poll questions for the week. The first question asks this: Who was/is the most underrated member of AC/DC ? When I think of this heavy metal band I think of a pretty much stable band, but they been around a long time too, and they have had several members throughout the many years. So we will have 10 current and former members of AC/DC to consider in the voting.

To vote in this week’s first rock poll, click on Classic Rock Poll, and when you get to this page, choose “Poll 1” to vote on this question.

Our VS Rock poll this week will ask this:'Acid Queen' (Original by the Who) vs 'Acid Queen' (Movie version by Tina Turner), which version is best?. I guess we can say week 2 of the Tommy VS questions. This Who song from the 1969 rock opera was written and sung by Pete Townshend. It’s about a gypsy, called the "Acid Queen” who tries to make Tommy better by giving him hallucinogenic drugs. Yeah, that should do it!

Tina Turner played the Acid Queen in the movie and for the soundtrack had some interesting session players helping her on this song. Future Who drummer Kenney Jones plays on here along with the late, great Nicky Hopkins on piano, and some guy named Ronnie Wood on guitar.

Remember if you choose to watch the YouTube videos that you’ll see links to at the voting page, don‘t judge the videos for your vote, only judge the music being played.

To cast your vote in this week’s VS poll, click on Classic Rock Poll, and when you get to this page, choose “Poll 2” to vote on this question.

In last week’s first Rock poll we asked: Who was the most underrated member of Led Zeppelin? In a total landslide John Paul Jones was chosen first. To see by how much, just click on: Classic Rock Poll week 430. For now the top results from this poll will be listed at the Top Ten Lists, Page, 9 page, but that page is getting too long and when I have the time, a new list page (10) will be built to show these results (and more).

In last week’s VS poll we asked this question : 'Pinball Wizard' (Original by the Who) vs 'Pinball Wizard' (Movie version by Elton John), which version is best? Week 1 of asking this question and it was somewhat a close vote. To see which song came out on top, click on the following link: Classic Rock VS Poll week 430. You can also check out the final results at the Classic Rock’s site’s VS page.

Final stop is at the Beatles’ poll, where it’s week 184, and we will answer this: Which Beatles song features the best guest vocals? The Beatles were such great vocalists that they rarely needed anybody else to sing on their records, and there are only 11 of them that I can find where guests did show up to sing a note or 2. I didn’t include anything they recorded with Tony Sheridan, nor the talking heard on “Revolution 9”, since that’s not singing, but if I missed a song, please let me know ASAP.

To vote in this poll for best guest vocals, just click on: Beatles Weekly Poll.

In last week’s Beatle poll we asked: What Beatles song has the best opening to it? I liked the top 10 list that came about from this very much. Some excellent picks I would say for sure! “Revolution” (the fast version), came in first at 9.7%, second place went to “A Hard Day's Night” at 9.5%, and third went to “I Feel Fine” at 9.3%.

To see the final results to this poll, click on: Beatle’s Weekly Poll – week 183. The top results from this poll will also show up on this page: Beatles Favorite Songs page .

Thanks to all of you who voted in all of this week's, and last week’s polls!
