I am pleased that it was a moderately convincing majority because that will perhaps help to heal some of the bad feeling and division that was created during a somewhat acrimonious campaign.

I hope so for your sake and that of everyone in Scotland. But having lived through two similar referendums, I can tell you that the healing process is not quick.

Some people invest too much of themselves in these things. It's only politics. The sun will still rise in the East the next day, and there will still be bills to pay. Life goes on.

But I'm glad you side won McPluto.
