I assume the new members of Lynyrd Skynyrd aren't in the Hall, I hope they aren't
Since I can answer this one, I suppose I should.
Only the pre-crash members were inducted: Ronnie Van Zant, Allen Collins, Gary Rossington, Leon Wilkeson and Billy Powell were all, naturally, inducted. Bob Burns and Ed King were also inducted even though they'd both left the band in 1975. Artimus Pyle, who replaced Bob Burns in 1975, and Steve Gaines, who joined in 1976, were also inducted.
Larry Jungstrom, who was their first bassist and plays on some of the songs on the album "First and Last", was not inducted. Neither were Cassie Gaines, Leslie Hawkins and JoJo Billingsley, collectively known as the Honkettes, who'd sung back-up for the band (heck, Leslie and JoJo weren't even invited to attend the ceremony and had to pay their own way!) No member of Rossington's post-crash band was inducted, not even Johnny Van Zant who has made a career of singing his dead brother's songs and has been standing in his brother's place for twice as long as RVZ himself did.
But does any of this really matter, considering what a joke the HOF has become? NOT being inducted in a place that let in Run DMC and all those rap guys may be a badge of honour.
