JJF in the Stones poll. One of the songs that got me hooked on the Stones, and one of the best riffs ever, by any band. Thank you for the riff, Mr. Wyman.
John Entwistle in the first rock poll. I have a feeling that bass players may be getting a lot of votes if you ask this question about other bands Keno. They're usually not very flamboyant (although there are exceptions) and their instrument, although essential, is seldom in evidence.
Vanilla Fudge in the second poll. These two versions of the song are so totally different that it's almost not the same song.
George Harrison in the Beatles poll. The Beatles are one of the few bands where the bass player was not overshadowed, for very obvious reasons. George is already running away with this poll, as he damn well should be. Ringo has a few votes, which isn't surprising, but anyone who votes for John or Paul either has been hiding in a very deep hole for the past 50 years, or is casting a joke vote.
