Manny, this is true as well. It does move their music forward into new generations. And if people who have never heard it plug into it that way, and listen to more of it (and less of the garbage that they call music today) then that can only be a good thing.
Still its odd that a band like the Sex Pistols who told the Hall Of Fame where to go would sell their songs to General Motors. Of course, the rights may have changed hands many years ago, and maybe the Sex Pistols never did this deal themselves. That's probably often the case.
