Drinking and Dancing n stuff with JSJ and Sweet V

I always knew that I would absolutely LOVE these ladies if/when we ever got a chance to meet. Well this weekend it FINALLY happened. The Gasser Girls were out in full force this past weekend in Wildwood and we had a blast together!

Observing Jiving Sister Jan and Sweet Virginia witness the magic that Keefer's band, The Glimmer Twins, bring to the stage made me smile from ear to ear. Jan's friends are a crazy bunch of fun ladies. I loved meeting them all and hope it's not the last time.

My medicine bag was fully stocked up....even had 2 kinds of hash. Not sure if Sweet V, JSJ (and friends), and Tom and I, plus other unmentionables, had more fun watching the bands or more fun drinking and laughing in my room during intermissions. LOL That's all I'll say about that.

Our beloved JSJ and friends were the highlight of the Sunday Deck Party Sing-a-Long. I must have watched that video of them performing Hearts For Sale 3 or 4 times already. Good job ladies! (Video can be found on youtube and FB).

If you have considered making the trek to Wildwood but just haven't done it yet. Do it! You won't regret it. I've been doing this for 7 yrs now and every year is different and a ton of fun. It's the next best thing to being at an actual Stones concert. The people are so nice. Everybody has each other's back, and every year I walk away with new friends.

Stonesdoug does a great job of organizing all of this and I believe that Keno would be proud of the way we all represented Gasland.

Wish I would have had more time to talk with MarchBaby and Stonesprofessor, but I know I'll see them at an upcoming Glimmer Twins gig or at the GT Xmas party in December.

So everybody raise a glass to the fun that comes along with being a Stones fan and the friendships that emerge.

I'll be going to a GT gig in Jersey over my bday weekend (show is on Sept 13th I think)and later this month I'll be going to see The Black Keys with an awesome Stonsey friend I met thru going to GT gigs. Summer is not over yet and there is still more fun to be had.

So cheers to Jiving Sister Jan and Sweet Virginia. Til the next time we say good-bye. I love you both!
