What are the Stones songs that you would tend to refrain from playing in mixed company?
When you think about it, there are probably a number of them that you could avoid playing around your mother, your more politically correct friends, or others.
Here's a funny (and true) story.
I entered the world of digital music only a couple of years ago when I bought an iPod. Prior to this I had burned CD-Rs to play in my car, but that's it. So I ended up buying the best iPod with the most memory. I needed it as I have thousands of CDs. So I spent countless hours loading those CDs into my computer's iTunes program, and then put them all on the iPod. I was thrilled. I could now carry thousands of CDs on my iPod and perhaps a few hundred on my iPhone.
So there I was at home with my wife and her parents who are both in their eighties and fairly conservative types. I had the iPod playing random. And what song is the second song the iPod chooses to play out of sixty of seventy THOUSAND songs??!!
C S BLUES ! ! ! ! ! ! !
No... this is NOT a song to play in mixed company.
To deflect I instantly raised my voice and started talking about something while lunging for the iPod.
Thankfully, I don't think the song reached the point where we hear of what the protagonists is looking for.
So what are some other songs to avoid in mixed company?
I'd say Little T&A is one.
I was thinking of this story today when I listened to the song "So Young"
