You got a messed up "center" tag in there Keno. We don't see this too often from you (actually, I don't remember ever seeing it.)
I spent a few minutes trying to get that "center" tag to go away and I can't even figure out why it's there, or why it didn't place the image in the center of the page - as it was correctly coded. Sometimes this old board will do that, you can have the code placed in there correctly and yet something strange like that takes place and I can't figure it out.
Nixon really has that much of an effect 40 years after the fact?
Oh yes! Gosh, I hated him so much, as much as I can't stand Bush Jr, I hated Nixon even more (what a Dick he was!).
I watched him resign that night with my late friend Brian (the dude who first told me about the Stones in '64). I recall it was one of the few times we were dry, we just couldn't score any weed that night and had to settle for some booze. Then about 5 minutes after Nixon's speech was over, I remembered that Brian's late brother Paul, who had died about a month before, had a secret hiding place in their house for his drugs, which he hid from his brother Brian. I was the only one he ever showed it too, and I only remembered it after Nixon's speech. Sure enough, we found all kinds of goodies in that hidden spot including some great weed, along with a jar full of reds (which were what killed Paul, and 6 years later would kill Brian). I recall how surprised Brian was when I showed him the hidden stash, he couldn't believe his brother was hiding stuff like that from him. But those 2 were your typical brothers, so I wasn't surprised at all, just surprised Paul told me where his hiding place was, since he knew I was close friends with Brian, too.
