I gave 40 Licks a 6. Good cover but more of the same.
Ruby Tuesday in the one rock poll, Sam Cooke in the other. I wonder why you added Gloomy Sunday by Sinaed O'Connor but left out Billie Holiday's take from the 40's. It blows Sinead's version out of the water. IMO she deserves a spot, but it's of course totally up to you. I appreciate you come up with these questions week after week, year after year.
Big YES in the Beatles poll. Whenever I listen to their work I get the feeling that they were not finished when they broke it up. That option was ripped to bits by a madman. Still angers me.
