When it comes to psychics and the paranormal I am a skeptic. But I have known at least one person who seems to have predicted the deaths of more than a dozen people. In each case, she told others that she dreamt of the person dying, and roughly when that person would die. Most of these people were not already sick or dying, or even extremely old. And this woman HATED it when these things happened, she never bragged about it or sought personal gain from it. For years I thought it was untrue. But then one day my father and i were with her when she said "oh, I dreamt that ___________ died." And the next day that man was found dead of a sudden heart attack in his home. He was only about 63 years old and had no real major health issues.
With this said, I am still skeptical. Mathematicians tell us that the concept of someone being right in their predictions - even 30 times in a row - is an understandable statistical anomaly. And that given the countless billions of hours that humans collectively spend in dream states, both day creaming and sleeping, that it would actually be more strange and unexplainable if there were not occasionally people like this.
But while I am a skeptic, I am also open minded. I won't believe in many things like ghosts, ESP, UFO landings, etc, NOT because I think they're impossible, only because I have not had verifiable proof of their existence myself as of yet.
