I recall a variation of the grave story that stated that the grass eventually grew back in the form of a cross. I worked in a Tavern that Dated back to the 1700's. I am convinced that place is haunted. Stuff would randomly get moved around all the time. Plus, several females, both patrons and workers, complained of being groped on the ass by someone only to turn around to nothing. My experience was having a tray of silverware get knocked out my hands. I took great comfort in the fact that it happened in front 3 witnesses who saw exactly what I did. That tray went up! Did not tilt or slide out of my hand. That tray went up with force, flipping over several times in the process. BTW that tavern was featured on some history/discovery channel doing a special on haunted places.
