For me, 'official' and 'unofficial' no longer really apply when it comes to live Stones. I've been listening so much it's all the same now. Additionally, I have grown more used to thinking of live Stones in terms of single concerts rather than released albums. Thus, I'll need some more time to think, but I'll get back to you.
Also, your post dovetails nicely with another topic I've been thinking about lately; mind if I hitch a ride?
It is: "What are yer top 3 gateway songs (bootleg or not) that got you into different eras of the Stones?" Responses to this question would help trace our different routes into the same monstrous lake of amusement that we are all familiar with.
Me: Looking Tired - not an obvious choice, but it is responsible for almost all pre-Satisfaction fun (not to mention trips into Jimmy Reed/Muddy Waters/Howlin' Wolf territory) that I've had. Coming from a Hot-Rocks background, this one turned my head around on its neck in curiosity and fascination.
All Down the Line, (acoustic version) - melodic, soulful, groovy, the real heart, deep down core, of the Stones, in my view, and gateway to everything MT-related for some reason.
Emotional Rescue - again, not an obvious choice, but for me it paved the way for everything just a little before and well after it came along. And it has only gotten better with age and familiarity. It is quite the gem.
