Hi Gassers, i'm keno's daughter Jackie and some of you might remember me, as I used to post here a bunch many years ago.
Keno hasn't been well and unable to even sit up for the last week. he told me that he did let everybody here at Gasland know about his prostate surgery 3 weeks ago today, and his problems stem from that. he developed an urinary tract infection about a week ago and it is causing him both great pain and he's unable to do anything at all. When he stands or even sit up he feels like he is going to burst his bladder. I had to rush him to the hospital again on Saturday and we spend the entire day there. They put him on new meds and I think they're working as this morning he can sit up a bit and he says the pain he gets when he pees is a lot less today, so that's a great sign (last week he renamed the bathroom the torture chamber because it was so bad). but just by looking at him I can see he's feeling a bit better today, so hopefully in a day or two he'll be himself again and be able to post again.
My dad isn't the kind who likes to sit around doing nothing, so the last week has been hard on him. his nerves are shot to say the least and no, he hasn't been at this computer in a full week and that's why there are no polls today. He isn't even reading his emails or checking posts here, so if you wrote him perhaps by tomorrow he will be able to reply to you guys. I will tell him about this thread and I'm sorry i didn't make this post sooner as I made you all worry about him, he did ask me to post about there being no polls this week last night, but I forgot. so thanks for your concern for him, I know that will make him feel better since it makes me feel good to see that you Gassers care about him. I also know he has told you about my problems in the last year and I want to thank you for your concerns about my health too (and I have to limit my time reading posts online here because of my eye problems, so I need to end this now). But the one thing I remember well about Gasland is how close everybody here is, and i think it's a great thing that hasn't changed in the last several years! so maybe i'll post again here soon as i do recall the fun i had the last time I hung out here and i'm also still pretty good with my footballs picks, if that pool is still ongoing here each fall.
