Thanks for the post JF. Good read.

I guess its adequate to say that Rock as we love it may be dying..or transforming.....

Its hard to get behind new acts these days because we are over informed with all the media sources, which kind of chips away the magic of the music.

I mean it was years before the Stones put lyrics in their LP's. We had to hear and re=hear it to see what the words were (at times it was a major task) , while the music slowly captured the soul.

The over exposure is a win some lose some situation.

As Jack Black said in R&R Highschool, R&R is about sticking it to the man..... of course there is fun to be had to.. but its being ballsy and daring to say something..e.g "I'll shout and scream, I'll kill the king, I'll rail at all his servants "

This Rock music situation we're in, is what makes me not understand why the boys don't decide to make a kick ass R&R album to keep the boat afloat....
